New Option for Mobile Computing

MD Consult has discontinued its PDA product, Pocket Consult, and has released a new tool, MD Consult Mobile. This new product enables you to access the content of MD Consult on your iPhone, iTouch, Trio, Blackberry Storm/Pearl, Fuze, Nokia N85 and TMobile1 device.

MD Consult Mobile allows you to browse content through Quick Reference links, to search books, Clinics, journals, MEDLINE and practice guidelines and email content links to yourself for later review, or to a colleague to share information.

You will need a personal account on MD Consult to access resources through MD Consult Mobile. To set up an account, you must visit the Library's website (libraries.umdnj.edu/stlibweb) or go to http://www.mdconsult.com/ while on a computer on the UMDNJ campus. From the MD Consult website, select "Create an Account", located on the top right of the page. Complete the registration form, create your username and password, click "Submit" and log out.

The University Libraries are pleased to be able to provide access to this clinical information tool in a convenient mobile format.
